Buffalo Bisons 2, Indianapolis Indians 5
The Bisons dropped another game and couldn’t keep the Gregory Polanco juggernaut off the bases for a second straight game as he went 3/3 with walk against Buffalo pitching. Kyle Drabek allowed 10 hits over his five innings but only one walk and that helped him keep the Indians to just three runs. John Stilson was tagged for another two runs. The Bisons only had five hits as a team with Brad Glenn getting two of them and pushing his batting average to .458 in 13 games in Triple-A this season.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 5, Binghamton Mets 7
Though Matt Boyd gave up six runs before this game was suspended on Tuesday night, the bullpen went to work held the Mets to only one run in the remaining seven innings thanks to Blake McFarland‘s four strong innings in which he struck out six. Newly promoted Arik Sikula allowed two hits in 1 1/3 innings but got three of his four outs via the strikeout. The offense came close to getting back in this game thanks to a 2/4 game and four RBI from Ryan Schimpf who blasted his team-leading 10th home run. Jonathan Jones also went 2/4 with a double.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats 5, Binghamton Mets 2
The Fisher Cats split the double header thanks to a strong performance from Casey Lawrence in the back half. Lawrence threw five innings and only allowed two unearned runs on four hits and one walk with two strikeouts. The new Blue Jay farmhands, catcher Hector Gimenez and outfielder Melky Mesa joined the club, each contributing a double to the proceedings. Ryan Schimpf hit another double and drove in a run as did Matt Newman.
Roster Moves: Melky Mesa and Hector Gimenez were added to the roster while Andy Fermin was placed on the DL.

Dunedin Blue Jays 5, Charlotte Stone Crabs 3
Another game, another win for the D-Jays, this time on the back of a strong start from Kendall Graveman. Graveman went six innings and allowed two runs on five hits and two walks with four strikeouts, getting nine other outs on the ground. Marcus Knecht had the game of the day, going 4/4 with two doubles, two RBI and a walk. K.C. Hobson and Derrick Chung contributed with two hits each while Dwight Smith drove in two. Dalton Pompey went 0/2 but scored twice and walked three times.

Lansing Lugnuts 2, Great Lakes Loons 1
The Lansing Lugnuts eked out a win over the Loons thanks to some timely hitting and strong pitching from Matt Dermody. Dermody threw 6 1/3 innings, allowing only one run on three hits and three walks with three strikeouts. Yeyfry Del Rosario, Scott Silverstein and Griffin Murphy combined for the 2 2/3 innings the rest of the way. Derrick Loveless led the offense with two hits (including the team’s only extra-base hit, a double) and a stolen base while D.J. Davis stole his sixth base of the season going 0/3 with a walk.

May 29 Preview
Buffalo Bisons (26-23)
The Bisons are looking for a win in this series and send Chad Jenkins up against Jake Brigham in a 7:05 PM start on MiLB TV in Indianapolis. Brigham, 26, has been very solid for the Indians with a 3.40 ERA and a 48-17 strikeout-to-walk ratio. Jenkins is coming off an okay start in his last outing, allowing four runs (three earned) over five innings without walking anyone.
New Hampshire Fisher Cats (18-34)
The Fisher Cats continue their series against Binghamton by sending Aaron Sanchez to the mound for his first start since his meltdown against the Portland Sea Dogs in which he didn’t retire a batter, getting charged with six runs (three earned). This is an early one, starting at 10:35 AM ET and is available on internet radio.
Dunedin Blue Jays (37-15)
The Dunedin Blue Jays send Taylor Cole to the mound against the Charlotte Stone Crabs who have not announced their starter. Cole has been a huge surprise this season and is 3-2 with an excellent 2.58 ERA with 73 strikeouts and just 14 walks in 59 1/3 innings. This one’s at 6:30 PM.
Lansing Lugnuts (25-27)
The Lugnuts continue their series at home against the Great Lakes Loons, sending Brad Allen to the mound against Brandon Martinez at 7:05 PM. Martinez is 1-0 with a 3.23 ERA exclusively out of the bullpen and is making his first start of the year after putting up an impressive 29-9 strikeout-to-walk ratio. He has been hit hard, though, allowing 37 hits in 30 2/3 innings. Allen, a mid-season minor league free agent signed after being released by the Diamondbacks. Allen allowed just one run on five hits and two walks with four strikeouts in five innings in his first start for the Lugnuts.
