New Hampshire Fisher Cats 3, Binghamton Mets 1

A three-run outburst for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats matched the club’s production over the past four games and was enough to carry the Fisher Cats to their first win in five games, 3-1 over the Binghamton Mets. The ‘Cats had just four hits including double and a walk from Matt Dean, who also drove in a run and scored. Rowdy Tellez also drove in a run and scored with a single and a walk but was also caught stealing. Jorge Saez drove in the club’s other run with a single.

Luis Santos was the club’s shining light on Sunday with six innings of one-run, four-hit ball, striking out seven. Danny Barnes threw two perfect innings, striking out one and Wil Browning earned the save with a perfect ninth, also striking out one.
