From the final score, the game between the GCL Blue Jays and their Tigers West opponents didn’t seem fair with the home Blue Jays coming away with a dominating 15-2 win. Francisco Rodriguez was 3/5 with a walk, two doubles and a single and drove in five runs while Bo Bichette hit his second career home run and second career grand slam all in the same at bat, driving in four and going 2/4 with two runs. Norberto Obeso was 2/3 with two walks, three runs and two RBI while Javier Monzon was 2/4 with a walk.

On the mound, Travis Hosterman allowed a run on two hits and two walks in two innings but struck out four batters before Jairo Rosario came in for two innings of one-run, one-walk ball, striking out two. Travis Bergen followed with a perfect inning, striking out one and Orlando Pascual faced one batter over the minimum but didn’t give up any hits or walks, striking out two and hitting a batter, earning his third win of the season. Mitch McKown walked four in 2/3 of an inning, allowing a run off of a hit but William Ouelette stranded the bases loaded, pitching 1 1/3 innings of scoreless ball to finish the game.
